Last September 24, 2016, CCT-Visions of Hope Christian School celebrated its 5th Founding Anniversary with the theme, Every Child is a Vision of Hope! Our Luzon staff, children from our Homecare and our special guests joined the celebration held at the Rose of Sharon House of Friendship, Puypuy, Laguna. Ms. Ruth Callanta, or Lola Ruth to the kids, graced us with her presence and opened the ceremony with an encouraging speech for our children and staff.

 

As we blew our candles, we uttered a prayer of thanks to God who has been gracious and faithful in the lives of the children and in this ministry.

We lifted our hands in worship to the God who made all these things possible for the ministry!

 

Our boys from the Magdalena Community Center showcased their gift in dancing.

 

Our very special guest, Ms. Coney Reyes, poured out her heart for the children and shared her inspiring story to us all.

 

The 5th Founding Anniversary was the Rose of Sharon Children’s Choir’s first singing debut!

 

We are honored to be working with these passionate staff who have been serving in VOH for more than 5 years already.

 

DEAR FUTURE SELF: We asked the children and staff to write a letter to their Future Self dated five years from now. Spending the time in prayer and reflection, they wrote their letters filled with encouragement and hope for the future. 

 

SEALED WITH A HANDPRINT: As a symbol of identity, unity and belief that every child is a vision of hope, we left a mark in this wall to remind us of our commitment to the cause.
